I am experiencing severe pain on the left side, a racing heart, nausea, and shallow breaths. I have had nausea most of the day, feel very thirsty, and have not seen a doctor. My medical history is clear, and I am not taking any medications. I am a 67-year-old female. What could be causing these symptoms?

We conducted a drug test on an adolescent today using Focalin, and the drug test was negative. I thought methylphenidate would show up as amphetamine in a point-of-care urine drug test. Is this a time-sensitive issue? What type of specimen are they testing? Anything else in the medical history that the Doctor should know?
