I have a Mac Mini running OSX 10.9.5. I need help opening two .pdf files that I believe are password-protected. I have already paid a $39 fee for assistance, but the previous specialist was unable to resolve the issue. I am elderly and have difficulty understanding technical instructions. How can I get these files opened, and how do I cancel my subscription to Just Answer?

I have two problems. Immediately after a Just Answer technician successfully resolved a problem with the installation of Adobe Reader, my Microsoft Outlook started receiving duplicate emails over and over. All emails in my inbox (thousands of them) are received repeatedly. Additionally, I cannot open PDF files using my web browser, which was the main reason for installing Adobe Reader.
