My ex-wife sold half of the monthly lotto tickets for my daughter's school fundraiser, but the money was never turned in, making the tickets sold to family members invalid. This has also happened with a candy bar sale, where the money was reported as misplaced. Would this constitute theft or any other infraction of the law which she could be charged with, and could pressing charges impact custody arrangements?

I was given the opportunity to purchase a female dog from a breeder in Texarkana, AR. The dog was sired by a champion male from Hungary. I agreed to purchase the female dog known as Lovely of New Deal. I received the dog in April 2009 along with the contract, dental records, shot records, and photo of the sire. The rest of the paperwork, including the AKC registration and certified pedigree from Hungary, arrived in July 2009. I noticed a tattoo number on the certified pedigree from Hungary, which did not match the tattoo in the dog's ear. I had a dog known as Heroine of New Deal, not the dog I contracted to buy. The breeder claims she gave me the dog she intended to sell, but it is not the dog I contracted to buy. I tried to resolve this in civil court but was unsuccessful. Would this fall under a 'Bait and Switch'?

My 24-year-old son recently died and he had financed a truck through a local credit union just 4 months ago. If I go to the credit union and tell them what has happened, what will happen to the truck? His brother would like to keep the truck and continue making payments, but I don't know if they will allow that. Legally, do we have any grounds to stand on? He had no will and no co-signers on the loan.
