My brother is being sued in small claims court for $10,000 for nonpayment of property taxes. He and I are co-owners of a property with one other person, and we each pay our own property taxes separately. The other owner is suing my brother for nonpayment, which doesn't make sense to me since our taxes are segregated. What can I do to address this situation?

I am trying to hire a developer to make a video game that I can sell. The contract includes a clause stating that if any copyrighted works are created as a result of the services provided by the Provider, the Provider owns all copyrights. The Provider also grants me a non-exclusive license for personal use of the produced works, with the requirement to attribute the Provider. I am worried that this means the Provider owns the video game I want to sell. What does this mean, and is it a scam?

Despite being told she is 'the most normal person they've had in there,' the facility plans to keep her for 2 to 3 more days. Can they force her to stay, or can she force them to allow her to leave once the full 72-hour EPO expires?
